Braille Welcome Sheet

The Maggie Law Maritime Museum now has a Braille Welcome Sheet to assist visitors who have a significant visual impairment, and who would normally use Braille as part of their daily lives.
This has been made possible by the team at the Braille Unit in Mackie Academy, and thanks to Pat Murray for her significant help in this part of the Museum development.
It is a real good news story, when the Braille Unit can produce a piece of work which will make such a difference to so many people in the wider community, and increase their access to information about the Museum.
It is hoped the Mackie Academy and the Museum can collaborate on further development work, to assist visitors who have a visual impairment.
